Hi my name is Tom
Our family has kept companion cockatiels for years but thought we had finished when our last one died. Now i am semi-retired and i got a wee Pearl last year...i had never seen a Pearl before.
I am looking to get her a mate (or even a sister) this year and have a go at breeding one pair as a hobby. i don't know if i will build an aviary in the garden but we have the space and it might be an option. How did you folks manage during the cold spell recently...were the Tiels ok outside? i am going to get a nest box camera when i get sorted
Are there any shows coming up...i don't want to enter any birds but it would be great to meet up with people who know what they are doing and see the different types of birds. Until last year i thought they were only grey and lutino.
Anyway, good luck with your efforts this year and if anyone can help me out please get in touch (01383418370 or 07709176937 or dogtagmedia@btinternet.com)
